Medical Illustrator

Duties and responsibilities: they are artist and they create graphics for magazines, books, and educational films. Can also do artificial body parts like ears and noses. For patients that need it.

Salary: $35,000 - $50,000 

Education: students who are interested in medical illustration. Should take college preparatory class in high school. Like art and science. Then college they should major in art or major in science. Need a graduate degree in medical illustration a portfolio and completion of the national exam.

Reflection: medical illustration is some thing that seems like a fun career but. I’m not a good artist. I feel like that would be the challenge for me.

Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Duties and Responsibilities: Licensed practical nurse work with other nurses and physicians. Take care of the injured and handicapped. other things they do is take temperature, take blood pressure, and pulses. pretty much what they do is take care of patients in hospitals.

Salary: $16,000 - $23,000

Education: Almost high school diploma and ged is not required but it is recommended that you have it. you don't need professional training. you'll get training at the hospital.

Reflection: I don't think id be interested in this job because of salary. Maybe if the salary was higher.

Duties and Responsibilities: they work on things like test on vents measure. look at the air flow rates. checks worker exposure

education: minimum a bachelor's degree

Education: you have to have a bachelor’s degree for healthcare administration and some sort of training to get you ready

Reflection: I think I would like this job. Seems like an easy career and not a boring job.

Histology Specialist

Histology Specialist

Duties and responsibilities: there are two histology specialist technicians and histologist. What they do is they prepare tissue samples and see if a patient has a disease. Histology specialists work in hospitals, pharmacy’s, and research labs.

Salary: $30,000 - $50,000 (Histologist)

Education: Must have an associate degree and complete a training program histopathology lab and must pass the national examination.

Reflection:  I don’t think I would like this job. Doesn’t look interesting to me.
